Essaouira Bay is where most learning happens — 100 metres of calm flat water before the waves form, sheltered from the strongest gusts, with consistent side-shore wind that makes water starts safe and easy. It’s one of the best beginner kitesurf spots in Morocco.
As you progress, we move to Sidi Kaouki — 25km south of Essaouira, with longer stretches of open beach, more power in the kite, and waves to ride when you’re ready. Moulay Bouzerktoun offers world-class wave riding for advanced kitesurfers. We arrange kitesurf trips to all of these locations, giving you the chance to explore the Moroccan coast and push your riding further. book now

No experience needed! Our beginner kitesurf lessons start from zero. We begin with kite control on the beach before moving to the water, so you build confidence and safety skills from the very start. Essaouira's sheltered bay provides ideal flat water conditions for beginners learning their first water starts.
Most beginners need between 8 to 15 hours of lessons to ride independently. This varies depending on your fitness, coordination, and how quickly you pick up kite control. Our 10-hour group package (€275) or 10-hour private package (€475) are specifically designed to take you from zero to independent riding over several sessions.
